How it works in practice
the path with Ass A'ksent Suisse?
Students follow the Cambridge International curriculum (CH345) in a personalized manner. Through orientation interviews, they choose their path by selecting the subjects of interest within a unique framework that forms the foundation of their new identity as a young "global citizen." Students are then assessed based on their progress across the Cambridge curriculum and the coherence between talent, direction, and action, as well as the impact they leave on shared experiences. Each year is marked by four educational touchpoints — real-life encounters in significant locations around the world — two of which are mandatory for those enrolled in the school. The remainder are tailored to their talent, life, and personal rhythm.

The Cambridge Pathway is an international educational pathway developed by Cambridge Assessment International Education that guides students through different stages of learning, enabling the progressive development of knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities, leading to globally recognized qualifications that are useful for university entry.
What if the student is not fluent in English?
That is not a problem. You need to start with an open and curious mind. The important part is not to speak well right away, but to get into the rhythm of international thinking. ITD supports each student with personalized language mentoring, tailored to their individual profile and pace.
Is it only in English?
Yes, because English is the language of living science, of global debate, of international academic access. An education in English is the most natural path to freedom in the world: free to study anywhere, to work anywhere, to think anywhere.
Is it an elite school?
No. It is a school for rare minds, for those who seek excellence as a responsibility.
Who is the course aimed for?
For students aged 11 to 18 with unique talents and passions: athletic, artistic, creative; gifted, multi-potential, or simply unable to adapt to standard educational models. For anyone who needs personalized learning, flexible schedules, psychological and physical mentoring, and ongoing identity development.
How do I access A'ksent Suisse?
There is no entrance exam, but a resonance interview. We meet the family, listen to the student, read the applications. If it is a match, we get in. We do not select the "best"; we designate those who have direction.
How much is it worth?
The value of ITD's activities lies in the quality of its research, the analysis of educational models, and the ability to identify effective solutions for complex, high-potential training contexts.
Why this choice?
The choice of pathways like the Cambridge Pathway is based on consolidated evidence in the international education landscape: it is a flexible educational model that allows schools to adapt the curriculum to their students, offering a wide variety of subjects and learning methods.
This approach fosters the progressive development of knowledge, understanding, and skills, preparing students not only for university entry but also to navigate complex global environments with autonomy, critical thinking, and adaptability.
In this context, ITD, as a research center, analyzes and studies these international educational models to understand their effectiveness, applications, and potential evolutions. The goal is to support students, families, and institutions in choosing educational paths consistent with the profiles and needs of the contemporary world.
